Do you desire “success”?

What is success? When you think of success, what do you think of?

Be a boss? Start a business and go public? Be a senior executive of an international group? Own a house and a car? Or retire early with financial freedom?

Does other people’s success = your success?

From a young age, parents or society have constantly instilled in us various definitions of success. However, how should we define success? Becoming a multi-millionaire is a good indicator of success! But what happens after you earn 10 million? Try asking your friends and colleagues around you, what would you do if you had 10 million tomorrow? He will tell you that you want to live in a bigger building and buy a better car. Then you continue to ask, what happens after buying a house and a car? What is the meaning behind it? He will answer that it makes my family happy. You ask again, what is the meaning of making your family happy? He will tell you that he feels that he is a person who can take care of his family and take on responsibilities.

In the society, everyone has similar superficial “success” goals. When we ask “Why? Why?” a few times, we will gradually find that the inner motivations are quite different.

What is the real goal of your life? Not external value; not the expectations of your elders; nor the definition of others’ success. The real goals of life are those that make you satisfied and happy from inside out, those goals that will not change with the external environment; those goals that you will do no matter how hard you work; those goals that you are willing to do even if there is no reward. Do the goal.

Many times, we don’t quite know what our true goals are. Others know better than yourself. This is exactly why we need coaches and psychological assessments to help us understand ourselves better.
